Perth arts and cultural leaders meet to welcome ECU to the city

A number of Perth’s leading arts and culture chiefs have met with Edith Cowan University (ECU) to workshop and explore opportunities, as the university develops plans for its state-of-the-art City Campus.

The $695m campus will bring the energy and vibrancy of more than 9,000 students and staff to the heart of Perth’s CBD when it opens in 2025. It will include the internationally recognised Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), WA Screen Academy and the School of Broadcasting, with WAAPA delivering more than 300 performances to the city’s arts calendar every year.
