Construction continues at ECU City

ECU City is changing the heart of Perth, as construction accelerates on the world-class campus.

The dynamic external façade is progressing up to level six on the southern side and up to level three on the northern side of the campus. The 11 super-level structure is expected to ‘top out’ by the end of this year.

Once open in semester one, 2026, ECU City will bring the energy and vibrancy of more than 10,000 students and staff and over 300 public performances from WAAPA.

The $853 million ECU City project is the centrepiece of the $1.7 billion Perth City Deal – a collaboration between the Australian Government, the Western Australian Government and Edith Cowan University to deliver Perth’s first fully comprehensive, inner-city university campus.
